The challenge

The interior leans on a small number of strong materials — dark marble, brass, fluted oak. The lighting had to sit inside that material logic rather than compete with it, in a kitchen, bathroom and living space that all read as one apartment.

The solution

A layered lighting plan combined a statement brass pendant over the kitchen island, integrated shelf and mirror lighting, and scenario control — so each space could shift from bright daily use to a quieter evening mode.
